Awareness Programme on Gadgets and Drugs Addiction Enlightens CARE College of Engineering first year Students.The event took place on March 23, 2024, at 3:30 PM in the Engineering Seminar Hall, drawing the attention of numerous students and faculty members.The programme, organized by the Department of S&H (Science and Humanities) in collaboration with NSS/YRC (National Service Scheme/Youth Red Cross), aimed to educate students about the detrimental effects of excessive gadget usage and drug addiction on mental health and overall well-being.
Mr. M. Manoj, a renowned Psychiatric Counselor from Aram Hospital, Trichy, graced the event as the guest speaker.Events like these serve as vital platforms for nurturing a generation of individuals equipped with the knowledge and awareness to make informed decisions regarding their physical and mental well-being. As the engineering students depart from the seminar hall, they carry with them not just certificates of attendance, but a newfound understanding of the dangers posed by unchecked addiction, and a resolve to lead healthier lives.
