The Department of Science and Humanities of CARE College of Engineering organized a Guest Lecture on “Campus to Corporate : Shape Your Transformation” between 9.15 am and 10.40 am & 2.00 pm and 3.15 pm on 16th March 2026 . The Chief Guest was Dr.J.Jayapragash, Associate Professor of English, Career Development Centre, SRM, Kattankulathur, Chennai. S.Dharshini / I yr CSE welcomed the audience and introduced the chief guest.
The guest lecture was conducted to help students understand the transition from academic life to the professional corporate environment. The session aimed to prepare students with the skills, mindset, and professional behavior required to succeed in the corporate world.
The speaker discussed the major differences between campus life and corporate life, emphasizing the importance of developing a professional mindset, responsibility, and adaptability. Students were encouraged to be proactive, maintain a positive attitude, and be ready to face new challenges in the workplace. In addition, the speaker emphasized the importance of continuous learning and skill development, explaining that professionals must constantly update their knowledge and abilities to remain competitive in the corporate world.
