The AICTE IDEA Lab at CARE College of Engineering successfully organised a Six-Day Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “Ideation to Product Development” from 19th March to 24th March 2026 at the AICTE IDEA Lab, CARE Campus, Tiruchirappalli. The FDP was conducted with the objective of empowering faculty members with knowledge and practical exposure in innovation, design thinking, prototyping, product development, and emerging technologies. Faculty members from various departments of CARE College of Engineering actively participated in the hands-on sessions focused on advanced technologies and prototyping tools available at the AICTE IDEA Lab, including Laser Cutter, Acrylic Cutter, Vinyl Cutter, PCB MATE, 3D Scanner, and 3D Printer. The sessions provided practical exposure to design, fabrication, rapid prototyping, and product development processes, enabling participants to enhance their technical skills and innovation capabilities through real-time applications and experiential learning.
