The Awareness Workshop for Industry, organized by the CARE AICTE IDEA Lab at CARE College of Engineering on 22 and 23 May 2026, was successfully conducted with the participation of industry professionals and technical experts representing organizations such as SISCO Energy Private Limited, ONGC, Mando Brakes, Rane (Madras) Limited, QCFI, Trichy Anamalai’s Toyota, Lowka Engineering, BHEL, CSI, IE(I), and The Institution of Engineers (India). The participants, including engineers, managers, quality and production professionals, design managers, consultants, and representatives from leading industrial and professional bodies, actively engaged in the programme. The workshop aimed to create awareness about the advanced facilities, equipment, and services available at the IDEA Lab and to promote industry–academia collaboration in innovation, research, product development, and technical skill enhancement. During the programme, participants were introduced to the state-of-the-art infrastructure and capabilities of the IDEA Lab in areas such as prototyping, testing, product development, technical training, and collaborative research. The interactive sessions facilitated knowledge exchange, discussions on industry challenges, and exploration of potential collaborative opportunities, enabling participants to gain valuable insights into leveraging the IDEA Lab ecosystem for innovation-driven initiatives. The successful completion of the workshop reaffirmed CARE College of Engineering’s commitment to fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, and meaningful industry engagement while contributing to the objectives of SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure).
