The 15-Day Training Program on “Test Engineer” was successfully organized at CARE College of Engineering, Tiruchirappalli, under the Finishing School for Employability Phase III initiative by the Infosys Foundation in association with ICT Academy.
Running from July 27, 2026, to August 14, 2026, the 100-hour program was formally inaugurated by CEO Shri B. Prative Chand, Principal Dr. S. Shanthi, and ICT Academy officials. A total of 65 students—comprising 33 from CSE and 32 from AI&DS—participated in the training.
The curriculum delivered 20 hours of Soft Skills training led by Ms. Maria Stephy Hatlin focusing on communication and interview readiness, followed by 80 hours of Technical Skills training conducted by Mr. G. Venkatesh covering Java Basics, JUnit, Selenium, and TestNG frameworks.
Concluding with a valedictory function on August 14, 2026, the program received outstanding feedback, with 98% of student respondents recommending the training and average satisfaction scores exceeding 4.7 out of 5 across all training modules.
