TECHAFLON 2026 – A Competitive Hackathon for Student Innovators

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, in association with the Computer Science Engineering Student Association (CSSA), successfully organized TECHAFLON, a competitive hackathon aimed at encouraging student innovation and problem-solving.

Following the preliminary evaluation rounds held on August 31, 2026, the main hackathon was conducted on September 11, 2026, at 9:30 AM at Fulcrum, CARE College of Engineering. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from CSE and AI & DS students, who showcased their creativity, technical skills, and problem-solving abilities by developing practical solutions to real-world challenges within a limited timeframe.

The event featured a prize pool of ₹6,000, with ₹3,000 for First Prize, ₹2,000 for Second Prize, and ₹1,000 for Third Prize, along with participation certificates for all contestants.

TECHAFLON provided students with an opportunity to strengthen their analytical thinking, algorithmic skills, coding abilities, creative thinking, and collaborative learning, while also serving as a platform to showcase emerging technical talent and innovation across the campus.
