Day 2 of the programme featured a session on “Applied Mathematics in Engineering”, delivered by Dr. R. Sudhesh, Associate Professor and Head, Department of Mathematics, UCE, BIT Campus, Anna University, Trichy, who was the Chief Guest. He highlighted the importance of mathematics in engineering and its practical applications in emerging fields. The session focused on Linear Algebra, Matrices and Calculus, explaining their relevance to Artificial Intelligence and Data Science (AI & DS). The session helped students understand the connection between theoretical mathematical concepts and their practical applications in engineering and technology.
