NDLI Awareness program

CARE College of Engineering joined hands with NDLI Club and organized a webinar on User Awareness of National Digital Library of India at 2.30 pm, on 16th June 2021 through Google Meet. Around 101 participants attended the session. Dr.Vignesh Sornamohan, Chief Strategic Outreach Officer, IIT, Kharagpur honoured the occasion as the Chief Guest and delivered an enriching lecture.

During his speech, Dr.Sornamohan highlighted the necessity of NDLI which can be utilized as a single-source knowledge repository rather than surfing through various browsers. He also enlightened the students on the infinite resources available in the NDLI portal. Hands-on guidance was given to them on the method of filtering the content, for a personalized and self-paced learning at varying proficiency levels. Further, he said that NDLI-Club is a platform for conducting learning-oriented events, both online and off-line for its members. He motivated the students to participate in multiple events to upgrade themselves for career development. It was really an eye opener for the audience.

Therefore, it was a valuable lecture on the usefulness and usage of the National Digital Library of India and the Club. In the current scenario, such an awareness to the student community is an encouragement to utilize the NDLI to the fullest benefits. It’s definitely going to help them get fruitful results not only during their exams, but they will also remain productive throughout their professional journey.
